It might be worth trying to get this achievement alongside the Master of Minions achievement, which requires you to win a rated game with 10 minion spells (except Summon Imps) in your spellbook. Note that damage your teammates deal counts as your damage for this achievement so getting this in a team game is out of the question.
(Note: You can still get this achievement alone if use the "Summon Imps" spell; you will not get the Master of Minions achievement, though)
Strategy Example: Stall until you can summon a Dark Knight, then finish your opponent with it. Towers, ice-shield, protection shield, and pegasus are all good spells to use until turn five. Always be sure you have a pegasus available for your dark knight if your opponent can escape.
